Well, StonebyDesign that is wholly owned and run by Gary Owens, his wife, and his brother Jason. We have a wide variety of designer kitchens that are displayed at our showrooms. These designer kitchens have been made using stone that has been supplied by us. These designer kitchens have been specially cut and polished by our very own stone experts to give it that feeling of luxury and the look of beauty. All our designer kitchens have a first grade quality finish to it. Our designer kitchens come in granite, marble and any other stone you may prefer.
Countertops
Our countertops are made to be durable and beautiful at the same time. Our countertops are easy to maintain and are always made from first grade stone and are topped off with quality finishes.
Granite countertops are the best option if you are looking for elegance, beauty and durability. Granite countertops are stain, scratch, chemical, heat and crack resistant and are therefore ideal for the daily wear and tear that it has to endure in a kitchen atmosphere. Granite is considered one of the most durable and desirable countertop surfaces available in today's market.
Marble countertops are also available but we recommend that you do not use it as a kitchen countertop because it isn’t as durable as granite. But marble can be used for other purposes such as bathroom vanities and tub decks, wet bars, desks, and fireplace surrounds.

Marble tops

Most marble were formed when the calcium created from shells & bones from prehistoric life forms combined with carbon dioxide from water. The result is a many million year old calcium carbonate, which is the fundamental mineral composition of marble.

Silestone & Natural stone
Silestone is an engineered quartz-based surface, manufactured through a highly advanced process. Silestone is strong, very hard and flexible at the same time. Silestone is a practical, durable and beautiful piece of stone that denotes a sense of royalty and a sense of pure luxury. With Silestone you have the full advantage of having chosen stone that is highly practical.
Silestone, being an engineered stone is heat, chip, crack and scratch resistant and is therefore the best stone to have as your counter top, kitchen top, bar top or even your flooring. This stone combines the hardness and durable nature of quartz with the low-level maintenance qualities of resin. The quartz content in Silestone is 93 per cent whereas the resin content is only 7 percent. Silestone is the ideal choice for care-free kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, flooring, table tops, wall panelling, and much, much more.
Natural stone is that stone that has been slowly created, over the years, by nature, therefore making every slab of natural stone completely unique and special in its own way. Natural stone is a metamorphic stone. Natural stone is very stylish and has a timeless and unique design to it.

Stone Care
Every type of stone is different from the other and this should be enough reason to use the right kind of cleansing and protective stone care agents. Various stones have different porosity levels because of their mineral composition, geological formation and the process in which the stones were formed. Also, please do not pick any cleaner or sealant off the shelf for cleaning and protecting your stone products. Always ensure that they are the right products for you and that they will effectively clean, protect and care for your stones without harming them. Improperly formulated cleaners or those with acids (such as porcelain or tile cleaners) may etch the surface of the stone. So, be very careful.
